The professionalism, integrity and character of Ronny Drayton as a musician in the neighborhood of Jamaica Queens has inspired the community. I grew up not to far from Ronny and appreciated his dedication to people and the arts. I was not involved with Ronny at the time he was blessed with a son, but I was very proud knowing a new leader was in the making because of Ronny’s leadership and guidance to influence his son Donovan..I too raised a son and know how being in the wrong place at the wrong time can be the worst thing for a young man trying to diffuse a situation that doesn’t represent his character! Mistaken identity has been a problem in the community. My son and I have experienced authority grab whomever to make an arrest! This is a very unjust procedure that occurs all the time! Knowing Ronny is knowing Donovan. I am convinced that Donovan’s integrity and character are examples of his father, and what ever happened was not the intent of Donovan Drayton because I know his Dad Ronny Drayton…When you see the son you see the father…May God continue to show you His favor and shame the devil in this obscure situation!!! Free Donovan!!!!!!
